Do SkinKick products contain benzoyl peroxide?
Nope! Benzoyl peroxide is one of several harsh chemicals on our Nope Nada Never list of ingredients we will never include in our products. We kicked benzoyl peroxide out with other toxins! Benzoyl peroxide is known to turn to acid upon contact with the skin and may cause local irritation such as redness, burning, dryness, itching, peeling and slight swelling. SkinKick scientists created our B3 Technology with cat’s claw extract, dragon’s blood resin and black willow bark extract to clear the appearance of blemishes and eliminate the need for benzoyl peroxide from our formulations.
Are SkinKick products drug-free?
Yes, SkinKick products are 99% natural and not classified as drugs. Our products are not antibiotics and are not intended to treat, mitigate or cure any disease. Skinkick was designed to promote clear skin and a healthy appearance. We hope it clears your mind too!
What is this “Nope, Nada, Never” list?
SkinKick feels strongly about excluding harsh chemicals and toxins from our products. We do not use synthetics or artificial fragrances. No faking here! We put these undesirable ingredients into one comprehensive list for you to see. It’s our commitment to you to create natural, safe products. Check it out!
Are SkinKick products cruelty-free?
Absolutely, we love all animals! We do not test our products on animals. All of our formulations, ingredients and products are cruelty-free.
Are SkinKick products vegan and gluten-free?
SkinKick products are free of any animal or animal-derived components or by-products and are therefore classified as vegan. They are also formulated as gluten-free.
Do SkinKick products use retinol or any retinol derivatives?
No, retinol is used in many competitor products as a source of Vitamin A for anti-aging. Doctors recommend pregnant women not use retinol due to possible harm to the baby. We believe that possible harm to a fetus indicates that retinol is also unhealthy for the body. Refusing to use retinol just makes sense to us. Retinol is one of several ingredients on our Nope Nada Never list. If we wouldn't use it on our skin, we wouldn’t ask you to use it on yours!
Do SkinKick products have preservatives?
Yes, we use two very safe preservatives in our products. These two ingredients are not all-natural but are naturally derived. Safety is our #1 concern.
Can I use SkinKick if I am pregnant?
Yes, we were informed that SkinKick is safe for pregnant women and works well for hormonal breakouts. Please be assured our formulations are gentle and safe for all skin types. However, you should always check with your doctor before using any new products while pregnant or nursing.
Why do your competitors often use three or more steps to address blemishes?
SkinKick is Naturally Smart SkincareTM that combines nature with skincare science. Since both our blemish relief ingredients and our skin renewal ingredients are natural, we’re able to combine them into one product. The use of retinol in many skincare products makes it difficult to combine with other non-natural blemish relief solutions because the chemistry is not compatible and can be too harsh for human skin.
Why does the SkinKick Blemish Relief Lotion come in an airless pump?
Our products include natural botanicals that need to be kept away from oxygen to stay fresh, therefore we use an “airless pump” to preserve our products.
I have never used SkinKick before. How should I use it for the first time?
When trying any new product, a patch test is always recommended prior to use on your face. Apply to a small area such as your arm or neck for two to three days, especially if you have a history of sensitive skin or allergic reactions. Your skin is unique to you. SkinKick cannot guarantee that customers will not experience reactions to our products and cannot be held responsible should any occur.
How much SkinKick Blemish Relief Lotion should I use each time?
We designed the SkinKick Blemish Relief Lotion bottle for you to use one pump in the morning and one pump at night for 30 days. All you need to do is to coat the skin evenly with product, versus layering it heavily on your skin. Less is more! It is safe to use the Blemish Relief Lotion more than twice per day, depending on your personal skincare needs.
What is the SkinKick Happiness Guarantee?
Most skincare products can take a bit of time to show results. We suggest a minimum of 90 days, but expect you will see initial results within a few days. We also recommend eliminating other skincare products with harsh chemicals and toxins in order to give SkinKick the best opportunity to clear your skin. If you’re not happy with your results within 90 days of your last purchase, return the bottles, even if they're empty. We’ll refund the purchase price, less shipping and handling. Simply send an email to help@SkinKick.com and request to return your unused product. Even if your containers are empty, you will need to return them. We will send you an authorization number that must be included with your return.
